Are you like me and simply do not enjoy cleaning? I see you friend. Cleaning has never been my thing although I certainly enjoy the finished product lol.
One thing that has certainly made the process a bit easier (and certainly healthier) has been making my own cleaning products. I know that sounds crazy but hear me out. When I started making my own cleaning products I knew exactly what was going into each product and was able to create the scents in my space that I wanted. These two things really made me feel more empowered to create the clean space I crave. It also didn’t hurt that these options saved me money lol.
Anyway here are some of my favourite recipes for cleaning the bedroom. If you try any of these please let me know your thoughts in the comments, I would love to hear form you. If you would like to read more of my green cleaning recipes have a look at some of my other blog posts here.
Thank you for checking out my blog. HOpe to see you back here again soon.

WOOD POLISH
Wood furniture is an investment and it is important to take care of it. Although polishing wood furniture should only be done every couple of months, it is important to continually keep it clean by dusting it or wiping it with a damp wet microfibre cloth.
• ¼ cup olive oil
• ¼ cup vinegar
• 10 drops of essential oils ( Arborvitae is my fave for this )
DIRECTIONS:
Add olive oil and vinegar to a glass spray bottle.
Add 10 drops of essential oil.
Shake well before each use.
Apply to the microfibre cloth and wipe wood surfaces clean. Repeat every 2–3 months or as often as needed.
LEATHER POLISH
Did you know coconut oil works as an excellent leather polish? Clean up imperfections in your leather shoes, purse, or other items with this 3-ingredient solution containing the cleansing power of Eucalyptus oil.
• 1/4 cup Fractionated Coconut Oil
• 1/4 cup vinegar
• 5–10 drops Eucalyptus essential oil
DIRECTIONS:
Combine all ingredients into a small glass dish and mix thoroughly. To use, dip a toothbrush or other cleansing tool into the mixture and rub over the leather surface to clean and condition. Wipe clean with a microfibre cloth and let any extra moisture dry before use.
